Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Petovi, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. If you are using Petovi on behalf of someone else — for example, managing a shared pet for a family member — you confirm that you are allowed to do so.

Petovi is an app for organising your pets' care: profiles, health records, reminders, and sharing with the people who help look after your pets.

Petovi is currently pre-launch. Features may change, be added, or be removed as we build, and parts of the service may be offered as a beta. We work to keep the service available and your data safe, but we cannot promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, especially during this stage.

You need an account to use Petovi. When you create one, give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

Your account is yours: keep your credentials safe and do not share them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you believe someone else has accessed it, change your password and contact us.

Use Petovi for what it is made for: caring for pets. Do not use it to break the law, to harm others, or to upload content that is illegal, abusive, or that you have no right to share.

Do not try to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or access data that is not yours. If you find a security issue, we would genuinely appreciate hearing about it — contact us using the details at the end of this page.

Petovi lets a pet's owner invite other people and give each of them a role, such as editor or viewer. The pet's owner controls sharing: who is invited, what role they have, and when their access ends.

If someone shares a pet with you, respect their data. Use the access you are given only to help care for that pet, and do not copy or share other members' information outside the app without their permission.

The data you add to Petovi — pet profiles, health records, photos, notes — is yours. These terms do not transfer ownership of any of it to us.

So that Petovi can work, you grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, and display your content, but only as needed to operate and improve the service — for example, syncing a record across devices or showing it to a member you invited. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the law requires us to keep something for longer.

Petovi is an organisational tool, not a medical one. Reminders, schedules, and any health-related information in the app are for informational purposes only. They are not veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they are no substitute for professional care.

Always consult a qualified veterinarian about your pet's health, and never delay seeking veterinary care because of something you saw — or a reminder you did not see — in Petovi.

Petovi itself — the app, this website, the Petovi name and logo, and the design and code behind them — belongs to Codeck Core SRL. Using the service does not give you any right to use our name, branding, or software outside the app.

You can stop using Petovi at any time, and you can delete your account directly in the app.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms — for example, abusive behaviour or attempts to compromise the service. Where reasonable, we will warn you first. If we discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice so you can export your data.

Petovi is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the service — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, Codeck Core SRL is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Petovi, including lost data or missed reminders. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing in them affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes are handled by the competent courts in Romania, unless the consumer-protection rules of your country of residence give you the right to a different venue.

We may update these terms as Petovi evolves. When we do, we will update this page and the 'Last updated' date at the top, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using Petovi after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.
